Multi-Strand Necklace, Bracelet and Earring Set with Glass Beads, Cupchain and Gunmetal-Finished Copper Bead

Necklace

STEP 1
Spread the ice-pick bail apart. Using flat-nose or chain-nose pliers, gently bend one leg of the bail so it is curved outward rather than straight--this will allow the bail to curve around the saucer better. Repeat for the other leg. Once complete, the ice-pick bail reminds me of a wishbone shape.

Fit the bail over the flat sides of the saucer, and then press the legs together so the saucer is captured.

Tip: You can work the tips of chain-nose pliers through the weave of the saucer then bend the ice-picks up just a touch, so the saucer is even more secure.
STEP 2
Add a 6mm jumpring to the loop on the bail. Add an 8mm jumpring to the 6mm jumpring. This series of jumprings will help the saucer to hang facing forward.
STEP 3
Open the jumpring below the third link on the rivoli chain, then remove the 3-link section; set it aside. Using the longer length (about 16 inches) of the rivoli chain as your guide, measure off an equal length of rolo chain then double it. Cut the remainder of the rolo chain away and set it aside.

Fold the rolo chain in half. Pass a 6mm jumpring through the last links on each end of the chain, through the last link of one end of the rivoli chain then through the 8mm jumpring connected to the ice-pick bail.
STEP 4
Open a 6mm jumpring and pass it through the link at the halfway mark on the rolo chain, then through one loop on the tab half of the clasp. Close the jumpring. Open a second 6mm jumpring and pass it through the last link on the other end of the rivoli chain then through the other loop on the tab half of the clasp. Close the jumpring.
STEP 5
Using flat-nose or chain-nose pliers, grasp an eyepin above the loop and bend the wire to a 90-degree angle.
Using round-nose pliers, grasp the wire at the bend and then form a loop around one nose of the pliers. Place one end of the crystal cupchain into the formed loop.
Wrap the wire tightly around the area of chain between the first and second crystal to secure the eyepin in place. Trim any excess wire.
Open the manufactured loop of the eyepin and join it to the jumpring connecting the rivoli chain to the clasp.

Cut the length of chain to work with the other lengths of chain. Then repeat adding an eyepin to the other end of the chain and connect it to the 6mm jumpring connecting the rolo and rivoli chain to the ice-pick bail.
STEP 6
Repeat Step 5.
STEP 7
Onto an eyepin, thread three fire-polished rondelles then form a simple loop to create a beaded link.
Repeat to create six 3-bead links. Repeat to create six 1-bead links using one eyepin and one clear bead. Open a loop on one end of one 3-bead link and join it to one end of one 1-bead link. Close the loop. Continue to join the beaded links together to create a beaded link chain.

Open a 6mm jumpring and join one end of the beaded link chain to the infinity component.
STEP 8
Cut a 12-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Thread on a Screw-Tite Crimp™ and an Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the Accu-Guard over one side of the infinity component then pass the beading wire back through the Screw-Tite Crimp. Tighten up the wire so there is little wire showing between the Accu-Guard and the Screw-Tite then use the screwdriver to tighten the screw in the crimp.

Using flush-cutters, trim any excess beading wire.

Thread on a series of beads to equal the length of the beaded-link chain. Secure the beads in place using a Bead Stopper™.

Repeat to add two more strands to the infinity component.
STEP 9
Add a cupchain connector to one end of the emerald cupchain. Using a 6mm jumpring, connect the cupchain connector to the infinity component.
STEP 10
Add Screw-Tite Crimps and Accu-Guard wire protectors to the other end of the beaded strands. Using two 6mm jumprings, join two beaded strands together then connect them to the 8mm jumpring on the icepick bail.

Assess the length of the strands then adjust if needed; adding more beads or taking some off so the strands work well together. Once you are pleased with the lengths, tighten the screws in the Screw-Tite Crimps and trim any excess beading wire.
STEP 11
Cut the emerald cupchain to the appropriate length then add a cupchain connector. Open one of the 6mm jumprings from Step 10 and add the cupchain connector. Close the jumpring.
STEP 12
Cut a 12-inch length of beading wire. Thread on a crimp tube and Accu-Guard wire protector. Place the wire protector over the infinity component then pass the wire back through the crimp tube. Compress the center section of the crimp tube to secure. Thread on thirteen clear glass beads, a 6mm jumpring, thirteen clear glass beads, one crimp tube and an Accu-Guard wire protector. Anchor the Accu-Guard to the other side of the infinity component, then thread the beading wire back through the crimp tube. Check to make sure the wire is not too taught or too loose. Secure the crimp tube and wire in place.
STEP 13
Add an 8mm jumpring to the open modified round component. Add a 6mm jumpring to the 8mm jumpring and to the 6mm jumpring in the beaded strand.
STEP 14
Repeat Step 12 creating a beaded strand that is fifty-one beads long, with a 6mm jumpring placed after the twenty-fourth bead (off center so the strands work well at the curve of your neck), anchoring one end of the strand to a loop on the box half of the clasp.

Note: Accu-Guards do not fit through the loops on the clasp so should be omitted from this step.
STEP 15
Using leftover beads and ball tip headpins, create drops to hang from the cage of the saucer. Use jumprings to secure them in place.

Earrings

STEP 1
String onto one gunmetal-plated 2-inch ball headpin one gunmetal-plated 3x2mm smooth rondelle and one gunmetal-finished 11.5x5mm snowflake rondelle. Using a pair of round-nose pliers create a bail with the straight end of the headpin, securing the loop between the two beads, creating a snowflake rondelle drop.
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers separate one link from the Swarovski and gunmetal-plated crystal clear 12mm rivoli chain. Rotate the loop on one end of the rivoli link 90 degrees, so it is facing front to back.
STEP 3
Open one gunmetal-plated 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the rotated loop on the rivoli link and the bail on the snowflake rondelle drop. Close the jumpring.
STEP 4
Open the loop on one gunmetal-plated leverback earwire. Pass it through the opposite loop on the rivoli link. Close the loop.
STEP 5
Repeat Steps 1 - 4 to create a second earring.
