Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski Crystal, Antiqued Silver-Finished "Pewter" and Czech Glass Rhinestone Spacer and Gunmetal-Plated Brass Bead Caps

Necklace

STEP 1
Using scissors cut four 8-inch lengths of Invizi™-Cord nylon beading cord.

Match the ends of two 8-inch lengths of cord. Pass the ends through first loop on the back of one end of the antiqued silver-finished and light Siam 37x14mm spacer positioning the center of the cords over the loop. Bring the four ends of the cord together and pass one gunmetal-plated 3x2mm crimp tube over the four cords. Pull the crimp tight against the spacer. Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube.

Repeat to attach the second two 8-inch lengths of cord to the second loop on the back of the same end of the antiqued silver-finished and light Siam 37x14mm spacer.
STEP 2
String the following onto the first bead cord:
  • One black 2mm crimp bead
  • Three Swarovski ivory 3mm round pearls
  • Two Swarovski ivory 4mm round pearls
  • Two Swarovski ivory 6mm round pearls
  • One Swarovski jet 4mm round bead
  • One Swarovski light Siam 3mm bicone bead
  • One Swarovski jet 4mm round bead
  • One gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead cap
  • One Swarovski ivory 8mm baroque pearl
  • Two gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead caps (narrow end to narrow end)
  • One Swarovski ivory 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead cap
STEP 3
String one gold-plated 2mm crimp bead onto the end of the wire. Pull the wire snugly so the crimp is closer to the last bead. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first part of the strand. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite®) inside the crimp (optional). Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end. Place an antiqued silver-plated crimp cover over the crimp tube and gently close using chain-nose pliers.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create eight tassels.
STEP 5
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4.5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on ring portion of the toggle clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach a 4.5mm jumpring to the bar portion of the toggle clasp.
STEP 6
Using flush-cutters, cut a 12-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire one crimp tube and a 1/2 inch piece of French wire. Pass the wire through the jumpring attached to the ring portion of the toggle clasp and back through the crimp tube leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed into a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.

Place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 7
String the following onto the bead cord:
  • One gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead cap
  • One Swarovski ivory 8mm baroque pearl
  • Two gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead caps (narrow end to narrow end)
  • One Swarovski ivory 11x8mm pear pearl

    • One Swarovski light Siam 3mm bicone bead
    • One Swarovski jet 4mm round bead
    • One gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead cap
    • One Swarovski ivory 11x8mm pear pearl
    • Two gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead caps (narrow end to narrow end)
    • One Swarovski ivory 8mm baroque pearl
    • Two gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead caps (narrow end to narrow end)
    • One Swarovski ivory 11x8mm pear pearl
    • One gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead cap
  • One Swarovski light Siam 3mm bicone bead
STEP 8
Pass the wire through the first loop on the back of the opposite end of the antiqued silver-finished and light Siam 37x14mm spacer from the top toward the center of the spacer.

String one crimp tube onto the beading wire. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional). Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end. Place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 9
Repeat Steps 6 - 8 to attach the beading wire and beads from the bar portion of the toggle clasp to the second loop on the back of opposite end of the antiqued silver-finished and light Siam 37x14mm spacer.

Pull the crimp tight against the eyepin. Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Trim one strand of wire just under the crimp leaving three strands of 3-inch wire. Place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 2
String the following onto the first bead cord:

  • One Swarovski ivory 11x8mm pear pearl
  • One gunmetal-plated 7x5mm basket bead cap
STEP 3
String one gold-plated 2mm crimp bead onto the end of the wire. Pull the wire snugly so the crimp is closer to the last bead. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first part of the strand. Place a small amount of adhesive (Loctite) inside the crimp (optional). Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end. Place an antiqued silver-plated crimp cover over the crimp tube and gently close using chain-nose pliers.
STEP 4
String one gunmetal-plated 11x10mm filigree bead cap onto the eyepin with the tassels. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire.
