Necklace

STEP 1
Cut the following:
  • Two 12-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
  • Four 1-1/2 inch lengths 3x2mm flat cable chain
  • One 10-inch length gold-plated 34-gauge wire
  • One 10-inch length and one 3-1/2 inch length gold color 24-gauge Zebra Wire™
STEP 2
Place one 1/2 inch eyepin on the bench block then use the flat side of the ball peen hammer to hammer and broaden the end of the wire, gradually working up to the wire. Taper the wire so the end is broader than the rest of the wire. Repeat to create a total of four paddle pins.

File the paddle shapes smooth and uniform then use a polishing cloth to shine the surface of the paddle.
STEP 3
Attach each paddle to the last link on one end of the 1-1/2 inch lengths 3x2mm flat cable chain.

Attach one 4mm jumpring to each Czech glass 15.5x5mm top drilled dagger.

String one 6mm round onto one 1-inch headpin then form a simple loop creating a 6mm round drop.
STEP 4
String onto one 12-inch length beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.

Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
STEP 5
String the following onto the beading wire:
  • One Czech glass opaque red 4mm round
  • One 4mm bicone
  • One Czech glass opaque red 4mm round
  • One 12x2mm square tube

  • One 12x2mm square tube
  • One Czech glass opaque red 4mm round
  • One 4mm bicone
Repeat Step 4 to secure the strand.

Repeat Steps 4 - 6 to create the second half of the necklace.
STEP 7
Place one 16mm open round component in the center of one 23.5mm open round component. Pass the 10-inch length of 34-gauge wire through one loop on the 23.5mm component, from back to front.

Wrap the wire around the 16mm open round, pass the wire through the second loop from the previous on the 23.5mm component. Continue to wire wrap around the components using every other loop on the 23.5mm component.

Set the open round component aside.
STEP 8
String one 25x2mm square tube onto the 10-inch length of Zebra Wire.

Center the square tube on the Zebra Wire then pass each end of the wire through one 20x2mm square tube, going opposite directions. Repeat once more using a 12x2mm square tube.
STEP 9
Pass one end of the wire through the end bar loop on one end of one 30x20mm fancy barrel focal two times. Keep the wire tight so the focal rests snug against the square tube. Trim the wire to approximately 1/4 inch then insert the end into the end of the square tube to conceal it. Repeat to secure the opposite end of the focal to the square tube.
STEP 10
Insert one eyepin into the 25x2mm square tube then form a simple loop to secure. Repeat to add an eyepin to the 20x2mm square tube.
STEP 11
Pass the 3-1/2 inch length of Zebra Wire through the hole on the Czech glass opaque red 21x11mm puffed flat drop then begin form a briolette wrapped loop.

Pass the second briolette loop through the end bar loop on the opposite end of the fancy barrel focal. Then finish the briolette wrapped loop. Attach one 3mm crimp to the end bar on either side of the puffed flat drop.
STEP 12
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the jumpring on one top drilled dagger drop (Step 3) and the right loop next to the bottom end bar loop then close. Repeat to attach the second drilled dagger drop to the left loop.

Use 4mm jumprings to attach the last link on the opposite end of each flat cable chain to the loops on either side of each square tube.
STEP 13
Pass one 5mm jumpring through the loop one end of the 25x2mm square tube (Step 8) and one 9mm open round component then close. Repeat to attach a second jumpring creating double jumprings.
STEP 14
Use a 7mm jumpring to attach the 6mm round drop to the 12 o'clock position on the open round component.

Use a 5mm jumpring to connect the left 9mm open round to the 7 o'clock position on the open round component. Repeat to attach the right 9mm open round to the 5 o'clock position.

Use 5mm jumprings to connect the Accu-Guard on one end of each portion of the necklace (Step 4) to the 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock positions on the open round component.
STEP 15
Pass one 4mm jumpring through one loop on one portion of the hook-and-eye clasp and the Accu-Guard on the opposite end of one portion of the necklace. Repeat to attach the second loop on the portion of the clasp to the Accu-Guard.
