Meet the Designer-Artist
Where do you live? Arkansas What inspires you as a designer-artist? Nature, mostly, but also from my own experimentation. What medium do you work with mostly? Polymer clay and ready-made beads. Why did you become enchanted with this style of jewelry-making? I like to make the cabochons, beads and other pieces then make my own jewelry designs so that I have created all of it from beginning to end. It is much more satisfying, than buying ready-made beads and putting them together. Where and How do you sell your jewelry? Word of mouth, contacts from Facebook, website: www.wagnersisters.weebly.com What is the name of the piece you submitted with your success story? Fall Leaves What inspired this design? I love fall colors, love creating the molds, curving them to make them more real and then stringing them. I have earrings to match as well that have matching clay beads. How did it come together? I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but part of it was determined by the supplies I had on hand. |
