The Honeyspas Necklace
Make a sketch of the embroidered details of this necklace or photocopy pictures 1 and 2, enlarging them to the desired size. Transfer the sketch onto the fabric. The side parts of necklace are worked out in the mirror image.
Embroider the outlines of the honeycomb with milk seed beads sewing them as shown in Fig. 1, or in any other way you like. Embroider the area inside the honeycomb with amber seed beads. Fix small beads to the centers of some cells (Fig. 2). Sew up amber beads to some of the embroidered cells. Trim the express fabric as close to the last bead row as possible. Glue leather to the back side. Let the glue dry and trim the excess fabric. Make a trimming row (Fig. 3).
Add a drop bead fixed on a pin at the bottom of each element. Assemble the embroidered elements together using some more beads. Add two strings of randomly strung beads to the lateral elements of the necklace. Unite the other ends of the strings together and attach a clasp. The necklace is decorated with bees. To make them, take some transparent seed beads for the wings and bead according to Fig. 4. Those bees which will be attached to the necklace are performed on the monofilament thread, while those for earrings are fixed on a pin (see Fig. 5).
