Nutmeg Necklace

  • Seed bead, Czech, transparent with pale pink line inside, size 8 (A)
  • Seed bead, Czech, transparent with pale pink line inside, size 10 (B)
  • Seed bead, Toho, milk nutmeg with silver line inside, size 11 (C)
  • Bead, 1.5x2.5cm oval (D)
  • Pearl, 7-8mm (E)
  • Clasp, lobster

Bead a base netting of the desired length in (B) for one half of the necklace (Fig. 1). Bead a three-bead "Ndebele" cord in (A) for the second half of the necklace (Fig. 2). The cord is decorated with Strings of (E) and (A) beads. Attach (D) beads to the bottom of the cord. Attach the cord to the wide edge of base netting.

Bead 5 petals of different size (C) (Fig. 3-5). Join the petals together to form the flowers. Work two middle parts in (A, B, C) beads (Fig. 6) and fix them in the center of the large and medium-size flowers. Attach the flowers to the base netting (see the photo). Attach a clasp.
