Necklace Base

STEP 1

Figure 2

Figure 3

Picture 1

Figure 4
Rows 1 to 2. Using monofilament thread and A, B beads work single-needle right-angle weave (Fig. 1). For the first row work 16 traditional loops in B, then alter to A and work 15 modified loops. Go back through the loops (Fig. 2) to make the row smooth. Work two more rows in the same way (Fig. 3).

Rows 4 to 7. These rows are beaded in the middle part of the necklace only. As you go forth, make the rows shorter, reducing their length from both ends symmetrically (Pic. 1).

Attach two parts of a clasp, using C (Fig. 4).

Pendants

STEP 2

Figure 6

Figure 7

Figure 8

Figure 9
Use lavsan thread for the pendants. There are of five types, each worked in a different way.
  • Type 1. Use Fig. 5 and B-H, K, L beads to work them
  • Type 2. Use Fig. 6 and A-D, F-H, J-L beads to work them
  • Type 3. Use Fig. 7 and B-L beads to work them
  • Type 4. Use Fig. 8 and B-L beads to work them
  • Type 5. Use Fig. 9 and A-D, F-L beads to work them
Attach the pendants to the necklace in groups of 7 pieces. Work like this:
  • Attach type 1 to the modified loops #5 and #11
  • Attach type 2 to the modified loops #5 and #11
  • Attach type 3 to the modified loops #6 and #10
  • Attach type 4 to the modified loops #7 and #9
  • Attach type 5 to the modified loop #8
