An RSS (Real Simple Syndication) Feed is a standardized notification, syndication and publication method for frequently updated online sites.

Popular RSS processing programs (also called "aggregators") include Google Reader, MyYahoo and Mozilla Firefox. Aggregators collect the latest content from websites you've chosen, then sort and display them for convenient reading. Using an RSS aggregator allows you to get information from websites you're interested in without having to go to each site individually to check for updates.
