Prepare the bracelet foundation:

Step 1
  • Cut a length of elastic thread to 10'' (25 cm).
  • Create a circle with the ends and tie a square knot.
  • Tie overhand knots to each tail placing them near the square knot.
Step 2
  • Dot knots with glue. Set aside to dry.
  • Trim ends to 3/8'' (10 cm).

Embellish with crystal components:

Step 3
  • Cut a length of nylon thread to 2'' (5 cm).
  • Tie the length around the elastic foundation, leaving equal length tails.
Step 4
Alternate adding the top half (in random order) of each of three sets of crystal components outlined in Step 7.
  • Add the top components of (Start with Set A) to one tail thread.
  • Push the crystals flush to the knot and trim the end to .25'' (7mm).
Step 5
Hold the crystals taut against the tail of the knot with a tweezers with one hand. Hold the flame of a butane lighter next to the tail and carefully burn a ball up to the crystal, creating a knot that will secure them. (Note: Working with flame and the melted nylon ball is extremely hot. Keep fingers away).
Step 6
  • Add the bottom components (match Set A bottom to Set A top, etc.) to the remaining tail end.
  • Repeat Step 5 to secure the crystals in place.
  • Repeat Steps 4 and 5 around the braceletwith crystal sets A, B, and C until bracelet reaches desired fullness. (Note: Recommended fullness uses every crystal listed in the material section.)
Step 7
Finished Set combinations:

SET A:
  • Top -- 8 mm Art. 5000 Jet Hematite, then 4 mm Art. 5301 Black Diamond.
SET B:
  • Top -- 6 mm Art. 5000 Jet, then 4mm Art. 5000 Jet Hematite; Bottom -- 6 mm Art. 5000 Black Diamond, then 4mm Art. 5301 Jet.
SET C:
  • Top -- 6mm Art. 5301 Black Diamond, then 4 mm Art. 5301 Jet. Bottom -- 6 mm Art. 5000 Jet Hematite, then 3 mm Art. 5000 Jet.
