Named after the exotic Northeastern province of China in which it is found, Ching Hai "jade" consists of dolomite, fuchsite and additional minerals in mottled pale to dark green hues with translucent to opaque white. The soft nature of the stone makes it a good choice to use in short necklace and earring designs that are protected from heavy abuse. Colors, shapes and sizes may vary in each lot.
