Instructions
Mix four ounces of Mod Podge® 2-part epoxy resin.
Add a couple drops of white opaque resin dye to the resin and mix well with a silicone stir stick.
Add a pinch of iridescent mica powder to the resin and mix well with a silicone stir stick.
Pour the resin into a silicone mahjong tile mold.
Let the resin cure for 24 to 36 hours.
Carefully remove the tile from the mold. Using a file, sand all sides of the tile until it is smooth.
Mix a bit of green mica powder with rubbing alcohol. Use it to paint the characters on the tile. Let the paint dry.
Using a bead reamer, drill a small hole in the top of the tile.
String the following onto a 2-inch 21-gauge silver-plated eye pin:
Finish the eye pin with a simple loop.
Using a 9mm 18-gauge silver-plated round jump ring, attach the link created in Steps 9 and 10 to the resin mahjong tile.
Attach the other end of the link to a 17mm 19-gauge silver-plated fishhook ear wire.
Repeat Steps 1 – 12 for the second earring.
