- Aquamarine, round bead 4mm
- Baltic amber, round bead 5mm
- Bead, gold-plated, 4x2mm oval, brass
- Jump ring, gold-plated, 3mm round, 22 gauge / 1.7mm inside diameter / brass
- Jump ring, gold-plated, 4mm round, 22 gauge / 2.6mm inside diameter / brass
- Jump ring, gold-plated, 4x3mm oval, 24 gauge / 3.1x2mm inside diameter / brass
- Head pin, gold-plated, 1 inch, 24 gauge brass
- Clasp lobster claw, gold-plated, 7x5mm, brass
- Chain, cable, 1.5mm / 2x1mm rondelle, gold-finished brass
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Cut one 18-inch length of gold-finished rondelle cable chain.
Using twenty-six 1-inch 24-gauge gold-plated head pins, make the following beaded drops by stringing each bead onto a head pin and finishing with a wrapped loop.
- Six drops with one 5mm baltic amber round bead
- Eight drops with one 4mm aquamarine round bead
- Twelve drops with one 4x2mm gold-plated oval bead
Open twenty-six 4x3mm 24-gauge gold-plated oval jump rings. Attach the beaded drops randomly along the center ten to eleven inches of the chain, alternating aquamarine, baltic amber and gold-plated oval bead drops to create a softly scattered fringe pattern.
Open one 4mm 22-gauge gold-plated round jump ring and attach it to one end of the chain.
Attach a 7x5mm gold-plated lobster claw clasp to the 4mm 22-gauge jump ring.
Open two 3mm 22-gauge gold-plated round jump rings. Attach one jump ring to the opposite end of the chain to create the closure loop. Attach the remaining 3mm jump ring beside it for a slightly extended fastening option.
