I want to make a three strand Crystal Passions pearl necklace (6mm, 8mm, 10mm) with the focal (center of the necklace) of a hand blown carnival glass heart that is approx. 2" long by 1.5" wide. The holes in the sides of the glass heart will not permit strands of pearls to go through. Is there a way to start the pearl strands from the center glass heart? What do you suggest I use to bead the pearls on? I want the individual pearl strands to twist around each other. Thank you.

  1. Cut three strands of FireLine® 3 inches longer than your desired finished length. String on the glass heart and position it in the middle of your strand.
  2. Butt a bead stopper snugly on one side of the pendant and start stringing your 10mm pearls onto the other side of the pendant
  3. Once you've finished stringing side #1, place a bead stopper on the end of the strand and string the pearls on the other side of the pendant

    Repeat Steps #1 - #3 using the 8mm pearls onto strand #2. Repeat Steps #1 - #3 using the 6mm pearls onto strand #3
  4. Crimp each strand leaving a small loop at the end of each strand. Open a jumpring and insert one end of strand #1, #2 and #3. Close jumpring and repeat for the other end of the necklace.
  5. Add a clasp or toggle to both jumprings
The necklace can be worn this way or you can twist or braid all three strands on each side of the pendant before adding the end jumprings.
