Favorite Charity: Mustang-Spirit Equine Rescue
I am the president/founder of Mustang-Spirit and myself and several of our volunteers make jewelry that we sell at booths and street fairs and on the internet to help raise funds to help support the many horses at the rescue. We also use a very small amount of tail hair when one passes and use it to make a key chain for those volunteers or adopters that had special connections to that horse.
Mustang-Spirit opened its gates in 2002 and has assisted over 600 horses since then.
Due to the high cost of feed, and the over 20 horses currently at the rescue, Mustang-Spirit needs all the help it can get!
They are run 100% by volunteers and all funds go to help the horses. They also retain ownership of their horses to help ensure safety for the life of the horse.
