Triple-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Cultured Freshwater Pearls and Swarovski Crystal Beads

Indulge yourself in three times the elegance of fiery lead crystals mingled with freshwater pearls with this triple strand necklace and coordinated earrings!

Necklace

Strand 1 (top strand)

STEP 1
Cut a 24-inch length of beading wire. String two crimp beads 1-inch from end of beading wire. Place end through top ring of filigree part of clasp and back through two crimp beads. Use crimp pliers to squeeze first crimp bead (furthest away from clasp) and fold it in half.
STEP 2
String 15 pearls onto wire; string a round Austrian crystal bead, a rondelle, a second round crystal bead, a rondelle, a third round crystal bead, a rondelle and a fourth round crystal bead (crystal bead unit) onto wire. String 20 pearls, a crystal bead unit, 20 pearls, a crystal bead unit and 15 pearls onto wire.
STEP 3
String 2 crimp beads and top ring of insert part of clasp onto wire. Fold wire back through two crimp beads and pull securely to tighten necklace. Squeeze and fold crimp bead (furthest away from clasp) with crimp pliers. Trim excess wire.

Strand 2 (middle strand)

STEP 1
Repeat Step 1 of Strand 1, cutting a 30-inch length of wire and using center ring of clasp.
STEP 2
String onto wire 25 pearls, a crystal bead unit, 7 pearls, a crystal bead unit, 9 pearls, a crystal bead unit, 7 pearls, a crystal bead unit and 25 pearls.
STEP 3
Repeat Step 3 of Strand 1, using center ring of clasp.

Strand 3 (bottom strand)

STEP 1
Repeat Step 1 of Strand 1, cutting a 34-inch length of wire and using bottom ring of clasp.
STEP 2
String onto wire 8 pearls, a crystal bead unit, 20 pearls, a crystal bead unit, 25 pearls, a crystal bead unit, 20 pearls, a crystal bead unit and 8 pearls.
STEP 3
Repeat Step 3 of Strand 1, using bottom ring of clasp.

Earrings


STEP 1
Thread a round crystal, a rondelle and a round crystal onto a head pin. Use round-nose pliers to make a loop. Before closing loop attach to ear wire. Close loop by wrapping excess wire around loop's base; trim. Repeat Step 1 for second earring.
