Easter Basket with Swarovski Crystal Beads and Ribbon Tulle

STEP 1

Cut 35x35cm of chicken wire.
STEP 2

Mould the wire over a 17cm diameter bowl to form the shape of a basket.
STEP 3

Fold the ends of the wire over the bowl as shown by the arrows in the illustration. Cut the wire that is in the inner part of the bowl to a length of 2cm all around as shown.
STEP 4

Remove the bowl and bend the ends of the wire using flat nose pliers.
STEP 5

Cut a 3m piece of ribbon. Measure 70cm and double the ribbon. Form a bow with the double ended piece of ribbon as shown.
STEP 6

Tie a knot using the two loops formed after completing the bow. Cut three of the four ribbon ends to a length of 12cm.
STEP 7

Attach the bow to the edge of the basket by weaving the long ribbon end around the top of the wire basket once as shown.
STEP 8

Wind this end three more times around the edge of the basket as depicted in the illustrations. Insert the swarovski Bead art. 5954 14mm crystal AB onto the ribbon end with the help of tweezers and weave the rest of the ribbon around the basket edge.
STEP 9

Tuck the ribbon end in with the help of tweezers as shown in the illustrations with this step.
STEP 10

Cut another 3m ribbon piece, insert it into the edge of the basket and repeat steps 8-10 inserting the following six Beads from the Swarovski crystal assortment (as shown in the illustration): article 5944 14mm crystal, 5954 14mm crystal AB, 5954 14mm crystal red Magma, 5954 14mm crystal, 5944 14mm crystal red Magma, 5944 14mm crystal.
STEP 11


Tie a double knot with the ribbon end from step 10 and one of the ribbon ends from the bow formed previously. Cut the longer end to 12cm.
