Brooch with Gold-Coated Plastic Drops, Swarovski Crystal and Seed Beads

STEP 1
Cut a 4-foot piece of crystal FireLine® thread and thread onto a beading needle.
STEP 2
String the first hole on one vitrail Twin™ bead, one gold Delica® bead, one gold Twin bead, one gold Delica bead, one vitrail Twin bead, one gold Delica bead, one gold Twin bead, and one gold Delica bead. Pass the needle through all of the beads one more time to create the first circle. Tie the end of the thread onto the circled thread using two overhand knots. Place a small amount of adhesive onto the knot for added security (optional).
STEP 3
Pass the thread through the second hole on the first vitrail Twin bead. String the one gold Delica bead, one 3mm gold pearl, and one gold Delica bead onto the thread. Go through the second hole on the first gold Twin bead. Repeat to attach one gold Delica bead, one 3mm gold pearl, and one gold Delica bead between the second holes of the Twin beads on the first row.
STEP 4
Pass the thread back through the next gold Delica bead, and 3mm gold pearl. String one olive green seed bead, one gold Delica bead, one 8mm gold pearl, one gold Delica bead and one olive green seed bead onto the thread. Go through the next 3mm gold pearl. Repeat to attach one olive green seed bead, one gold Delica bead, one 8mm gold pearl, one gold Delica bead and one olive green seed bead between each of the 3mm gold pearls on the second row.
STEP 5
Pass the thread back through the next olive green seed bead, gold Delica bead, and 8mm gold pearl. String the first hole on three vitrail Twin beads onto the thread. Go through the next 8mm gold pearl. Repeat to attach the first hole on three vitrail Twin beads between each of the 8mm gold pearls on the third row.
STEP 6
Pass the thread back through the first 8mm gold pearl and second hole on the first vitrail Twin bead. String the first hole on one vitrail Twin bead then the second hole on the second vitrail bead. String another vitrail bead between the second and third vitrail beads from the third row. String one olive green seed bead, one gold Delica bead, one vitrail Twin bead, one gold Delica bead, one vitrail Twin bead, one gold Delica bead and one olive green seed bead onto the thread, passing the thread over the top of the 8mm gold pearl. Go through the top hole on the next three vitrail Twin beads from the third row. Repeat to attach one olive green seed bead, one gold Delica bead, one vitrail Twin bead, one gold Delica bead, one vitrail Twin bead, one gold Delica bead and one olive green seed bead, passing the thread over the top of the 8mm gold pearl between each of the vitrail Twin beads on the third row.
STEP 7
Pass the thread back through the second hole on the first vitrail Twin bead on the fourth row. String the first hole on one vitrail Twin bead then the second hole on the second vitrail bead on the fourth row. String one 3mm gold pearl onto the thread. Pass the thread through the second hole on the next vitrail Twin bead and the first hole on one vitrail Twin bead then the second hole on the second vitrail bead on the fourth row above the 8mm gold bead. Repeat around the outer edge of the piece to finish the fifth row.

Pass the thread back through all the beads on the last row of the mandala. Tie off the tail, place a small amount of adhesive onto the knot for added security and cut off the excess thread from the end.
STEP 8
Place a small amount of G-S Hypo Fabric Cement on the front of one antique-gold finished 35x35mm filigree focal piece and the back of the woven beads. Set the woven piece in the center of the focal piece with the 8mm pearls aligned with the points of the focal piece. Let the adhesive set. Repeat to attach the pin back to the upper third of the focal piece with the focal piece oriented in a diamond shape. Let the adhesive set. Make sure to use proper ventilation when using this product.
STEP 9
Cut a 4-foot piece of crystal FireLine thread and thread onto a beading needle. Pass the thread through the second hole on the vitrail bead in the fifth row and the outer edge at the top point of the filigree focal. Pass the thread for three to four wraps and tie the end of the thread under the focal to secure the beads to the focal. Repeat to secure all four corners.
STEP 10
Open one 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on one gold-finished spike and the bottom loop on the filigree focal piece. Repeat to attach one spike to the loop on the left and right of the center bottom of the focal piece.
