- Jumpring, anodized tempered aluminum, red, 6mm round, 18 gauge (28 jumprings)

- Jumpring, anodized tempered aluminum, dark blue, 6mm round, 18 gauge (4 jumprings)

Copper and Red Jumpring Chain
STEP 1
Attach a paper clip to two closed copper 12mm jumprings.
Pass one red 8mm jumpring through the two 12mm jumprings then close. Repeat to attach a second jumpring creating double jumprings.
STEP 2
Pass one copper 12mm jumpring between the two previous 12mm jumprings and around the two 8mm double jumprings then close.
STEP 3
Pass one copper 12mm jumpring through the previous 8mm double jumprings.
Tip: The jumpring from Step 3 should lie on top of the jumpring from Step 2.
STEP 4
Flip the chain over and repeat Step 3 making sure to sandwich the jumpring from Step 2.
STEP 5
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 until the desired length of approximately 7-1/2 inches has been reached.
Purple and Dark Blue Jumpring Chain
STEP 6
Repeat Steps 1 - 5 to create a total of two chainmaille strands approximately 7-inches in length, using the following jumprings:

Dark blue 12mm (first side in place of copper 12mm jumprings)

Purple 12mm (second side in place of copper 12mm jumprings, Step 4)

Copper 8mm
-
Red 12mm (floater jumpring, Step 3)
STEP 7
Taking one of the chainmaille strands from Step 6, pass one copper 6mm jumpring through the last two 12mm jumprings, purple and blue, then close. Repeat to attach a second jumpring creating double jumprings.
STEP 8
Pass one red 12mm jumpring between the two previous 12mm jumprings and around the two copper 6mm double jumprings then close.
STEP 9
Pass one blue 6mm jumpring through the two previous 6mm double jumprings then close.
STEP 10
Flip the chain over and repeat Step 9 with one purple 6mm jumpring.
STEP 11
Repeat Steps 7 - 10 for each end of the chainmaille strands from Step 6.
STEP 12
Using double 6mm jumprings, connect the floater jumprings (12mm red jumprings) along one side of one purple and dark blue jumpring chain to one side of the copper and red jumpring chain.
Repeat to connect the second dark blue jumpring chain to the opposite side of the copper and red jumpring chain.
STEP 13
Using flush-cutters, clip off the second and fourth loops on one red 31x6mm 5-strand slide lock clasp.
STEP 14
Pass one copper 6mm jumpring through the top loop of one portion of the red slide lock clasp, the double blue and purple 6mm jumprings on one end of one purple and dark blue jumpring chain, and the red 12mm jumpring on the same length of jumpring chain then close. Repeat to attach a second copper jumpring creating double jumprings.
STEP 15
Pass one red 6mm jumpring through the middle loop on the same portion of the clasp and the last two copper 12mm jumprings on one end of the copper jumpring chain then close. Repeat to attach a second red 6mm jumpring creating double jumprings.
STEP 16
Repeat Step 14 using the bottom loop on the same portion of the clasp and the same end of the second dark blue and purple jumpring chain.
STEP 17
Repeat Steps 14 - 16 to attach the second portion of the clasp.
