- Bead, antiqued sterling silver, 4x1mm beaded rondelle (96 beads)
- Bead, Swarovski crystals, Pacific opal, 4mm Xilion bicone (44 beads)
- Pearl, Swarovski crystals, mauve, 3mm round (18 pearls)
- Pearl, Swarovski crystals, mauve, 4mm round (124 pearls)
- Pearl, Swarovski crystals, mauve, 6mm round (116 pearls)
- Pearl, Swarovski crystals, mauve, 8mm round (19 pearls)
- Bead cap, antiqued sterling silver, 11x5mm saucer with cutout design, fits 10-12mm bead (2 bead caps)
- Crimp, sterling silver, 2mm cut tube, 1.4mm inside diameter (2 crimps)
- Crimp cover, sterling silver, 4mm (2 crimp covers)
- Jump ring, sterling silver, 4mm round square wire, 2.4mm diameter, 20 gauge (20 jump rings)
- Eye pin, silver-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches, 21 gauge (2 eye pins)
- Head pin, sterling silver, 1-1/2 inches with 1.5mm ball, 22 gauge (18 head pins)
- Ear wire, sterling silver, 19mm oval with closed loop, 20 gauge (2 ear wires)
- French wire, sterling silver, 1.2mm tube
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 21 strand, 0.024-inch diameter
- Chain, apatite and rhodium-plated sterling silver, light, 3.5x2mm-4x2.5mm hand-cut faceted beaded rondelle
- Pliers, round-nose
- Pliers, chain-nose
- Pliers, bent-nose
- Pliers, crimping
- Pliers, flush-cutter
Tip: This necklace can be worn multiple ways, such as wrapped around the neck, threaded through a loop or tied/knotted in the front.
STEP 1
Cut the following:
-
One 4-foot length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire
-
Two 1/2 inch lengths of French wire
-
Sixteen 2-inch lengths of chain
Tassels
STEP 2
String the following onto one 1-1/2 inch eye pin:
-
One 8mm pearl
-
One 11x5mm bead cap (large end first)
-
One 4mm pearl
Form a simple loop.
STEP 3
String one 3mm pearl and two 4mm pearls onto one 1-1/2 inch head pin then form a simple loop, creating a drop.
Repeat to create a total of 16 drops.
STEP 4
Use the loop on the drop to attach it to one end of a length of chain.
Repeat to create a total of 16 chain length drops.
STEP 5
Use one 4mm jump ring to attach a chain length drop to a loop on one bead cap.
Repeat to attach one chain length drop to each loop on the cap, creating a chain tassel.
Repeat to the second bead cap.
Necklace Assembly
STEP 6
String one 2mm crimp and one length of French wire onto the length of beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the French wire leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.
STEP 7
String the following onto the beading wire:

STEP 8
Continue to string the following:

Three sets of:

One 4x1mm rondelle

One 4mm Xilion bicone

One 4x1mm rondelle

One 4mm round

Two 6mm rounds
-
One 4mm round

One 4x1mm rondelle
-
One 4mm Xilion bicone

One 4x1mm rondelle

One 3mm round
Repeat to string this sequence a total of two times.
STEP 9
Continue to string the following:

One 4x1mm rondelle

Two sets of the following:

STEP 10

STEP 11

Repeat Step 6 to complete the strand.
STEP 12
Use a 4mm jump ring to attach a chain tassel to each end of the strand to complete the necklace.
STEP 1
Cut two 1-1/2 inch lengths of chain.
STEP 2
String one 3mm round and two 4mm rounds onto one 1-1/2 inch head pin then form a simple loop.
Attach one end of a length of chain to the simple loop.
STEP 3
Use one 4mm jump ring to attach the remaining end of the length of chain to the loop on the ear wire, completing one earring.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to complete a second earring.
