Embodying the aristocratic style of the Baroque period, this bridal necklace and earring set is timeless in nature and of heirloom quality. Composed of German crystal focal pieces and Swarovski crystal pearls in statement sizes, it revisits the ornamental luxury indicative of this time in history. Easy-to-make with basic stringing techniques, the nearly invisible 2mm faceted round Swarovski crystal beads look like tiny knots tied precisely between each pearl.
For the earrings Using two pairs of chain-nose pliers, open a 6mm jumpring and string on a 37x26mm baroque crystal. Close the jumpring. Open a 5mm jumpring and slide through earwire loop, then attach to the 6mm jumpring on the crystal. Close the jumpring and repeat for the other earring.
For the necklace Gently open the prongs of a pinch bail so it's wide enough to fit around the top of a 50x35mm baroque crystal. Insert prongs on either side of the crystal and pinch closed. Cut a strand of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire to your desired necklace length, leaving two extra inches on either end for crimping. String onto one end of the clasp and crimp. Trim excess wire. String on a 10mm Swarovski crystal pearl and a 2mm faceted round crystal bead. Continue stringing this pattern approximately 3/4 of the length of the necklace. String on a 12mm Swarovski crystal and plated metal rondelle and continue the pattern for several more beads before stringing on another rondelle. String on a pearl, one 2mm crystal round and another pearl. Slide wire through the pendant bail and repeat pattern in a mirrored image for the other side of the necklace.
