I am just not good with knots. I would prefer to use crimp tubes on stretch cord ("powercord"). I would like some reassurance that finished bracelets would last for a long time with wear. Have you had any testimonies from clients on this, and what is your opinion?

My concern with using a crimp tube with the Powercord®, is that a crimp is designed to compress onto beading wire, securing it in place. Crimping the tube onto the elastic cord could decrease the integrity of the cord and shorten its overall lifespan.

Accu-Flex® beading wire is very strong and the more strands of wire (49-strand) the more supple or flexible the wire is. This is one of the better choices for use with crimp tubes and longevity of the design.

While using a surgeon's knot is the recommending termination for use with Powercord, it can be finished using a cord cap or end. It is recommended to use E6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive on the knot to add extra security to the end.
