 How to Use Cab-Tite™ Settings

  • Cab-Tite™ Gold-Filled earwire settings 
  • Cab-Tite™ sterling silver earwire settings 
  • Cab-Tite™ pendant settings 
  • chain-nose pliers 
  • Cabochon to fit the setting

    Step 1
    Place your cabochon into the Cab-Tite™ setting, lining it up properly.
    Step 2
    Press firmly and evenly down on the stone, snapping it into the setting.
    Step 3
    Check to make sure the prongs are snug against the stone. If they're not snug, use a pair of chain-nose pliers and gently press on opposing prongs, being careful not to slip and possibly scratch the surface of your stone. Repeat on the other set of prongs if necessary.
    Step 4
    Your cabochon is now set and ready to wear.
