Step 1
Cut 8 inches of chain using flush-cutting pliers. Using chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 6mm twisted jumpring. Place the loop of one half of the clasp and one end link of the cut cable chain onto the jumpring, then close the jumpring.
Step 2
Slide the following sequence of beads onto the cable chain:
- 1 silver-plated 10mm open weave round bead
- 1 red rondelle with silver grommet
- 1 silver-plated 10mm open weave round bead
- 1 green rondelle with silver grommet
Step 3
Repeat the sequence of Step 2 four more times.
Step 4
Slide the following sequence of beads onto the cable chain:
- 1 silver-plated 10mm open weave round bead
- 1 red rondelle with silver grommet
- 1 silver-plated 10mm open weave round bead
Step 5
Open a 6mm twisted jumpring. Place the loop of the remaining half of the clasp and the end link of the cut cable chain onto the twisted jumpring, then close the jumpring.
Creating the dangle next to the clasp:
Step 6
Cut 3/4 inches of the silver-plated cable chain. Open a 4mm jumpring. Place one end of the 3/4 inch piece of chain and the 6mm twisted jumpring added in Step 5 onto the 4mm jumpring, then close the jumpring.
Step 7
Place a 4mm light red fire-polished bead on a silver-plated headpin and create a simple loop. Repeat this step until you have 6 more drops.
Step 8
Attach one drop made in Step 7 to each link of the silver-plated cable chain until you have attached all 7 drops to the chain.
Step 9
Place one 6mm ruby Czech fire-polished bead on a silver-plated headpin and create a simple loop. Attach the drop just created to the end of the cable chain.
