Hessonite Garnet Gemstone Properties

Design Possibilities

If you keep these scrumptious root beer, orange and citrus-colored hessonite beads in a dish on your desk, people will try to eat them like candy. That's how scrumptious they look. Also called the cinnamon stone, hessonite is the most varicolored of the garnets. It is a grossular, a Latin word for gooseberry. (Everything about hessonite seems to be associated with something to eat.) Combined with other golden-toned gemstones such as golden "jade," yellow fluorite, or citrine, it looks delectable. As you will look, when you wear it.

Metaphysical/Healing Properties

I was surprised when I learned that hessonite has strong spiritual value for people regarded as wise. Besides making them mellow, it keeps them from becoming gossipy or talking too much about what they know. It's clear that I'd better wear hessonite constantly. Already, I like to tell people what I think and I don't even have the wisdom to go along with it. Come to think of it, I do feel mellow when I wear hessonite. And sometimes I even listen to what other people tell me. Maybe, I am becoming wiser. After all, I recognize the beauty and value of hessonite already.
