Smaller than Delica® seed beads, these extremely uniform beads offer more intricate and uniform design potential. The 15/0 bead measures approximately 1.15mm in the direction of the thread and is approximately 1.55mm wide. It takes about 350 beads to cover a square inch surface and a 35-gram package will cover about 25 square inches. 15/0 Miyuki rocailles allow you to create intricate patterns and subtle color changes not possible with larger beads. They are also ideal for going around corners or for filling small spaces in patterns with larger beads. Manufactured by Miyuki of Japan, makers of the renowned Delica® seed beads.
Finish will wear off with use. For more information, view the Seed Bead Finishes and Treatment Durability chart. To extend the beads' life, use an artist fixative such as Mod Podge®.
