These deep luster freshwater pearls are cultured at the White Lotus™ Pearl Farm. Flat-backed pearl embellishments are round in shape. Since time immemorial, the pearl has represented innocence and purity. Elizabeth I of England was so enamored of pearls that she had 500,000 sewn onto just one gown. Pearls are often half-drilled so they can be used as cabochons or with post settings. Since pearls are a natural material, color and size will vary. Pearls will vary in color from cream to mauve to peach in a variety of hues.
