Shine-On™ Nox-Rust® strips help inhibit the rusting of items made of ferrous metals including mild carbon steel, cast iron, tin and tin-plated steel. Each strip protects approximately one square foot of metal and protection will last approximately six months depending on the environment. Protection may last longer if metal items and Shine-On™ Nox-Rust® strips are stored in sealed bags according to manufacturer's directions. Shine-On™ Nox-Rust® strips also provide light rust protection for aluminum items; not recommended for use with any materials other than those listed.
