Brand: Prometheus
Material: Metal
Material Detail: Fine Silver

Use fine silver Prometheus® metal clay paste to join dried (not yet fired) Prometheus silver clay pieces, dried and/or fired pieces together or fired pieces with silver findings such as bails and jumprings. Silver clay paste is handy for repairing small cracks in dry Prometheus clay pieces and transforms into 99.9% silver after firing for a seamless patch. Also use this paste to paint on materials you can't normally put in a kiln, such as leaves, to retain the natural texture and shape during firing. Requires refiring; for full details see instructions included in package. This fine silver formulation lets designers create pieces that are bendable—and stronger!—than other formulas. It also removes the need for activated carbon or multi-step firing, as well as allowing for removal from the kiln while still hot. Pieces made from this fine silver clay formula can be kiln-fired. Easy-to-use paste helps connect dried pre-fired pieces, affixing sterling and fine silver components to dried silver clay, fill cracks in dried pieces, draw patterns and paint directly onto organic materials such as paper, leaves, petals, etc..

Shrinkage: 12%
Firing Temperature: 1058 degrees Fahrenheit (570 degrees Celsius)
