In terms of selling my jewelry at shows, should I look for events where I'll be the only one selling the kind of jewelry I make, or one where there are others who do similar kinds of jewelry?
- Susan
I believe that buyers and sellers both benefit at shows where there are sellers with different styles. Artisan jewelry makers rarely have a style that is identical to another jewelry maker (at least not intentionally, I hope!) so I wouldn't shy away from doing a show where there are others making jewelry with similar materials. Up to a point, competition benefits sellers and buyers.
