I was wondering if you need any kind of release with the flex molds? I'm thinking for metal clay you'd want to oil them, but what about resin?
- Natlie
Correct—when molding metal clay in the molds, adding a light touch of oil is the way to go.
When forming shapes using resin, I have found that once cured, the resin just pops out of the molds like ice cubes from an ice-cube tray, no release needed.
Kato Polyclay™ releases well from the molds when a light spray of water is applied.
