How to Use the Vintaj® One-Step Looper Pliers

Use this one-step looper to make and trim loops or beading links using eyepins, wire or headpins with one motion—creating consistent loops every time. Bend or trim 18- to 26-gauge wire to create uniform 1.5mm loops—then simply trim excess metal for perfect eyepins. These Vintaj® jewelry-making pliers work with dead-soft or half-hard metal wire, including precious, craft, brass or copper core wire.

Instructions

Step 1
Putting wire through looping pliers

String beads onto a headpin or eyepin in the desired pattern.

Insert the straight end of the beaded headpin under the peg and through the hole aligning the jaw with the top bead.

Step 2
Closing the looping pliers

Using your thumb, hold the beaded wire secure while squeezing the looper pliers closed. The Looper pliers will cut the wire and form a complete simple loop.

Step 3
Finished product

Once the loop is created, push the beads down the wire slightly and straighten the loop, if needed.
