Video Tutorial - Using EUROTOOL® Coil Cutting Pliers

Quickly cut clean, consistent jump rings with Eurotool Coil Cutting Pliers. Designed to hold wire coils securely while you saw, they’re perfect for chainmaille, wire wrapping, and custom findings and are an essential tool for every jewelry maker.

Instructions

After using the Coiling Gizmo® to coil wire to desired size and length, follow these steps:

Step 1

Place coiled wire in the open coil-cutting tool.

Step 2

Close the coil-cutting tool.

Step 3

Rotate coil-cutting tool to a 45 degree angle.

Step 4

Saw blade cutting in the coil-cutting tool

Insert jeweler's saw blade into the cutting groove and slowly cut the coils until they separate and come off onto the saw blade.

Note: Be sure to use straight and consistent cutting movements to assure clean edges at the cutting point of your jumprings.
