- Cord, Powercord®, elastic, clear, 0.8mm, 8.5 pound test
- Bead, acrylic, black and white, 7x5.5mm crow and 23x13mm bat
- Bead, Celestial Crystal®, 48-facet, opaque orange with half-coat smoky AB, 10x8mm faceted rondelle
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a 10-inch length of 0.8mm Powercord®.
Step 2
Apply a Bead Stopper™ to the Powercord approximately 1.5” from one end. For instructions on how to use a Bead Stopper, watch this video.
Step 3
Thread on one bat bead.
Step 4
Thread on one Celestial Crystal® orange faceted rondelle bead
Step 5
Thread on one bat bead in the opposite direction from the first.
Step 6
Thread on a second orange faceted rondelle bead.
Step 7
Repeat Steps 3 through 6 until you have threaded on 12 bat beads and 12 orange rondelles.
Step 8
Remove the bead stopper.
Step 9
Pulling the Powercord tight, tie a surgeon’s knot in the cord. To learn how to make a surgeon’s knot, watch this video.
Step 10
Apply a small drop of E6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive to the knot. Let it dry overnight.
Step 11
Cut off the tails of the Powercord.
