- Seed bead, Delica®, glass, Duracoat® opaque jujube, (DB2119), #11 round
- Bead, Celestial Crystal®, opaque red AB, 10mm faceted bicone
- Bead, Celestial Crystal®, opaque red AB, 4mm faceted bicone
- Ear wire, gold-plated brass, 16mm leverback with 7x2mm shield and open loop
- Crimp, gold-plated brass, 2x1.5mm round, 1.3mm inside diameter
- Bead cap, gold-plated brass, 9x6mm basket, fits 9-11mm bead
- Clasp, toggle, gold-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 14mm round with flower
- Drop, gold-plated "pewter" (zinc-based alloy), 20x13mm fancy heart with 5 loops
- Chain, gold-plated brass, 5mm rolo
- Crimp cover, gold-plated brass, 3mm round
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 21 strand, 0.024-inch diameter
- French wire, "vermeil," 1.2mm tube
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 5mm round, 3.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Eye pin, gold-plated brass, 1-1/2 inches, 21 gauge
- Head pin, gold-plated brass, 2 inches, 21 gauge
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 4mm round, 2.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 19-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire, two 5-1/2 inch lengths of 5mm rolo chain and four 1/2-inch lengths of French wire.
Step 2
Use a 4mm jump ring to attach half of a toggle clasp to the first link of a length of rolo chain.
Step 3
String a crimp, a length of French wire and the last link of the rolo chain onto the beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the French wire, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp, trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire then add a crimp cover.
Step 4
\String the following pattern two times:
- One red AB 4mm bicone
- One red AB 10mm bicone
- One 4mm bicone
- One 9x6mm basket bead cap
- One gold 10mm bicone
- One bead cap
- One 4mm bicone
- One gold 10mm bicone
- One 4mm bicone
- One bead cap
- One gold 10mm bicone
- One bead cap
Step 5
String the following:
- One 4mm bicone
- One bead cap
- One red AB 10mm bicone
- One bead cap
- One 4mm bicone
- One red AB 10mm bicone
- One 4mm bicone
- One bead cap
- One red AB 10mm bicone
- One bead cap
- One 4mm bicone
Step 6
String a crimp and a length of French wire then repeat the crimping process from Step 3 to secure the strand.
Step 7
Use a 5mm jump ring to attach the end of the beaded strand to an outer loop of a 20x13mm fancy heart drop.
Step 8
Repeat Steps 3 - 7 to complete the second half of the necklace.
Step 9
String a jujube #11 seed bead, a gold 10mm bicone and a second seed bead onto a head pin then create a simple loop.
Use a 4mm jump ring to attach the drop to the bottom loop of the fancy heart drop.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String a jujube #11 seed bead, a gold 10mm bicone and a second seed bead onto a head pin then create a simple loop.
Repeat to create a second drop.
Step 2
String a 9x6mm basket bead cap, a red AB 10mm bicone and a second bead cap onto an eye pin then create a simple loop.
Repeat to create a second link.
Step 3
Pass the loop of an ear wire through the loop of a link created in Step 2.
Use a 4mm jump ring to attach a drop created in Step 1 to the second loop of the link.
Repeat to complete the second earring.
