Instructions
Cut the following lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire:
Creating the Tassel Component
String one crimp onto one 4-1/2 inch length of beading wire, leaving approximately 1/4 inches on the end. Crimp then finish with a stardust crimp cover. Trim excess wire.
String onto the beading wire:
Pass the beading wire back through the crimp then pull the beading wire to form a small loop. Crimp, then trim excess wire.
Repeat Step 2.
String onto the beading wire:
Pass the beading wire back through the crimp then pull the beading wire to form a small loop. Crimp then trim excess wire.
Repeat Step 4 with the remaining eight 4-1/2 inch lengths of beading wire.
String one crimp tube and the loops of all the pearl drops onto the 2-inch length of beading wire. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull tight then crimp. Trim excess wire from the short end.
String onto the other end of beading wire:
Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a smooth crimp cover.
Pass one 4mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard and one 12x7mm lobster claw clasp then close.
Creating the Link Component
String onto a 1-1/2 inch head pin:
Form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of four drops.
String onto a 1-1/2 inch eye pin: one 8x4mm fancy bead cap, one bright gold 8mm pearl and one 8x4mm fancy bead cap then form a simple loop.
String onto a 1-1/2 inch eye pin:
Form a simple loop.
Pass one 5.5mm jump ring through one loop of the 8mm Bordeaux link. Attach the opposite side of the link to the bottom center loop of one 39mm filigree connector.
Attach each 8mm Bordeaux drop to the remaining four bottom loops of the connector.
Attach the 8mm bright gold link to the top loop of the connector.
Attach two jump rings to the opposite end of the bright gold 8mm link, creating double jump rings.
Attach the lobster claw clasp from the tassel component to the 6mm jump ring attached to the 8mm Bordeaux link.
Apply a small dab of G-S Hypo Cement® to the setting on the 39mm filigree connector just above the flower design in the center. Press one amber yellow PP12 chaton into the setting.
Repeat to affix the remaining three chatons to the three settings around the center flower design.
Set aside to cure according to manufacturer's instructions.
Assembling the Necklace
String onto the 18-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a stardust crimp cover.
String onto the beading wire:
String two 2x1.5mm round crimps and the double jump rings attached to the link component onto the beading wire then repeat Step 13 in the opposite direction.
Repeat Step 12 to secure the strand.
Pass one 6mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard on one end of the strand and one 6mm jump ring then close.
Attach one 14x8mm lobster claw clasp to the opposite end of the strand using a 6mm jump ring.
String onto a 1-inch eye pin: one 7x4mm flower bead cap, one bright gold 6mm round and one 7x4mm flower bead cap then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second link.
String onto a 1-1/2 inch head pin:
Form a simple loop. Repeat to create a second drop.
Connect one drop, one link and one ear wire.
Repeat to create a second earring.
