- Bead, silver-plated brass, 3mm round
- Adhesive, E6000® Fray Lock™, crystal clear
- Bead, malachite (natural), 8mm round, B grade, Mohs hardness 3-1/2 to 4
- Bead, Crystal Passions® and silver-plated pewter (tin-based alloy), Crystal Passions®, light Colorado topaz, 6.32-6.5mm rose montées (53103), SS30
- Crimp cover, silver-plated brass, 4mm round
- Pearl, White Lotus™, cultured freshwater (bleached), white, 8-9mm semi-round, C grade, Mohs hardness 2-1/2 to 4
- Cord, Powercord®, elastic, clear, 0.8mm, 8.5 pound test
Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 12-inch lengths of 0.8mm Powercord®.
Step 2
String the following pattern onto one length of Powercord ten times:
- One 8mm malachite round
- One 3mm silver-plated round
- One light Colorado topaz SS30 montée
- One 3mm silver-plated round
Step 3
String one 8mm semi-round pearl and one 3mm silver-plated round onto the second length of cord.
Pass the cord through the first montée added on the first cord through the perpendicular hole.
Repeat, passing through the next montée in the opposite direction. Continue along the entire first strand.
Note: A wide eye needle may be needed to pass through each montée a second time.
Step 4
Tie each set of cord ends together using a surgeon's knot.
Add a bit of adhesive for additional security.
Add a crimp cover over each knot.
