- Bead, Czech glass druk, transparent yellow, 6mm round
- Beading wire, Accu-Flex®, nylon and stainless steel, clear, 49 strand, 0.019-inch diameter
- Clasp, 2-strand slide lock, electro-coated brass, blue, 16.5x6mm tube
- Crimp cover, gold-plated brass, 4mm round
- Crimp, 14Kt gold-filled, 2x1mm smooth tube
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 3mm round, 1.7mm inside diameter, 22 gauge
- Jump ring, gold-plated brass, 6mm round, 4.2mm inside diameter, 18 gauge
- Jump ring, niobium, teal, 5mm round, 3.4mm inside diameter, 20 gauge
- Wire protector, Accu-Guard™, gold-plated brass, 4mm tube, 0.5mm inside diameter
Instructions
Step 1
Cut two 9-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
Step 2
Pass one teal 5mm jump ring through two 6mm jump rings then close. Repeat to attach a second jump ring creating double jump rings. Push these jump rings to the left.
Repeat to attach a second set of double jump rings and push these jump rings to the right.
Step 3
Pass one teal 5mm jump ring through the previous set of 6mm jump rings and two additional 6mm jump rings then close. Repeat to attach a second jump ring creating double jump rings.
Pass one teal 5mm jump ring through the previous 6mm jump rings and then repeat to create double jump rings. Push these to the left. Repeat to create another set of double jump rings and push these to the right.
Repeat for a total of 26 sets.
Step 4
String onto one 9-inch length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end.
Crimp, then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a 4mm crimp cover.
Left Strand
Step 5
String the following onto the beading wire:
- Repeat this sequence to string 27 sets:
- One transparent yellow 6mm round
- One left side set of double jump rings
- One transparent yellow 6mm round
Repeat Step 4 to secure the strand.
Right Strand
Step 6
Repeat Step 4 using the remaining strand of wire.
String the following onto the beading wire:
- Repeat this sequence to string 27 sets:
- One transparent yellow 6mm round
- One right side set of double jump rings
- One transparent yellow 6mm round
Repeat Step 4 to secure the strand.
Step 7
Pass one 3mm jump ring through the Accu-Guard on one end of the left strand and the top loop on one portion of the two-strand slide lock clasp then close. Repeat to attach the right strand to the second loop on same portion of the clasp.
Repeat to attach the opposite end of each strand to the second portion of the clasp.
