Instructions
Add a beading needle and a stop bead to an arm-length of FireLine® thread.
Pick up 11 size #11 blue beads. Pick up one more blue and then pass back through the second-to-last bead of the first group.
Continue to use the technique from the Odd Count Peyote Bracelet to create five rows of peyote stitch with blue beads.
Stitch 16 rows of five-bead (row of 3, row of 2) wide peyote on one end of the beading.
Pass through the beading to the other side of the initial five rows, exit out the second edge bead then pass back through the third edge bead.
Add 11-rows of five-bead wide peyote stitch.
Add the following rows of odd peyote:
For the next row, add one blue-fuchsia and one hot pink. Pass through the last hot pink of the previous row, pick up a hot pink, then pass through the last edge blue on the opposite side of the buttonhole.
Finish the row by adding two blue.
Repeat the pattern provided until the bracelet is the desired length.
Tip: Encourage the triangles to be 3-dimensional by pushing the purple beads up while stitching and keeping the thread tension very tight.
A printable pattern is available here: Seed Bead Template (PDF)
Add approximately 3/4 of an inch of peyote-stitched blue beads.
Pass through various beads to exit in the middle of the all-blue section. Pick up the loop of a button then pass through the same seed bead again. Pass through the loop of the button and the seed bead three more times.
Pass through various beads through the bracelet to secure the thread, then trim.
