Instructions
Use Devcon® 2 Ton® epoxy and a toothpick to attach a 30x22mm cabochon to a 47x35mm bone focal. Set aside to dry.
Cut the following:
Place one end of the 16-gauge wire at the top of the bone focal. Bend the wire around the bone focal to form a teardrop shape.
Place one end of the wire on a steel block. Use a hammer to flatten approximately the top 1/2 inch of wire.
Gently bend the flat end of the 16-gauge wire into itself to form a loop approximately 1/4 inch long. Bend the round end of the wire around the loop to secure the shape in place.
Remove the jump rings from each of the tassels that will be used.
Wrap one end of the 12-inch length of wire three times around the bottom-left portion of the teardrop. Pass through a tassel then wrap twice around the teardrop. Pass through another tassel. Continue this process to add all desired tassels then wrap around the teardrop three times. Trim excess wire.
Wrap one end of the 18-inch length of wire three times around the top of the teardrop.
Pass through a glass bead then wrap once around the teardrop. Continue this process to add approximately 32 beads to the teardrop, passing the wire through the tassels when necessary.
Wrap around the top of the teardrop three times then pass through the top of the bone focal. Wrap around the other side of the teardrop three times, trim excess wire and tuck in the tail.
Pass the chain through the loop at the top of the teardrop to complete the necklace.
Use Devcon 2 Ton epoxy and a toothpick to attach a 14x10mm cabochon to a 30x21mm bone link. Set aside to dry.
Cut three 4-inch lengths of 24-gauge wire.
Remove the jump rings from each of the tassels that will be used.
Pass a tassel onto one length of wire.
Gently bend the wire over itself so that one side is approximately 3 inches long and the other side approximately 1 inch long. Pass a bead onto the short side. Wrap the short side around the long side two to three times.
Use the tip of a pen or round-nose pliers to form a small loop on the end of the long side. Wrap the remaining wire down around itself to meet with the wrapped short side.
Repeat to create a total of three tassel drops.
Use 5x4.5mm jump rings to attach the tassel drops to the bottom of the bone link.
Attach an ear wire to the top of the bone link. Repeat to create a second earring.
