Working off the spool, create a simple loop on the end of 20-gauge silver-plated wire.
1/4 to 1/2 an inch under the loop, bend the wire at an approximately 90-degree angle. Gently bend the wire in an arc down and away from the loop. Wrap the wire around the tip of round nose pliers. Repeat to create a cloud shape.
Wrap tightly up the stem of the loop then trim the wire.
Wrap the end of 24-gauge silver-plated wire around the cloud frame on the bottom left side three to four times.
Grip the frame directly next to the wire wraps with round nose pliers. Bring the wire around the jaw of the pliers to form a loop then wrap tightly three times. Repeat to add a total of 18 loops then wrap tightly to secure and trim the wrapping wire.
Cut 18 lengths of chain that vary from 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches. Attach each length of chain to a bottom loop on the cloud frame.
Note: The number of chain segments and drops may need to be altered based on the number of and spacing of wrapped loops added.
String a faceted teardrop on a 4mm jump ring. Attach the drop to the bottom of a chain segment. Repeat to add a faceted teardrop to each segment of chain.
Cut a 5-inch length of 18-gauge silver-plated wire. Gently curve the center of the wire in a U-shape, then continue to bend to create an oval. Create a large simple loop on one end of the wire. Attach the hook to the loop of the cloud frame.
