Instructions
Necklace Instructions
Step 1
String one Siam 4mm round onto a head pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of nine Siam drops. String one light Siam 4mm round onto an eye pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create the following:
- Nine light Siam 4mm links
- Nine rose 4mm links
- Nine light rose 4mm links
- 13 crystal clear 4mm links
- Eight Capri blue 4mm links
- Ten Capri blue 6mm links
- Eight sapphire 6mm links
- Ten aquamarine 6mm links
- Eight light azore 6mm links
- Two crystal clear 6mm links
- Six crystal clear 8mm links
Step 2
Connect the following using one 4mm jump ring between each link:
- One chain of ("Capri blue chain"):
- Eight Capri blue 4mm links
- One Capri blue 6mm link
- One chain of ("Short chain"):
- One Capri blue 6mm link
- One sapphire 6mm link
- One aquamarine 6mm link
- One light azore 6mm link
- One crystal clear 8mm link
- One chain of ("Medium chain"):
- One Capri blue 6mm link
- One sapphire 6mm link
- Two aquamarine 6mm links
- One light azore 6mm link
- One crystal clear 8mm link
- One chain of ("Long chain"):
- Two Capri blue 6mm links
- Two sapphire 6mm links
- Two aquamarine 6mm links
- Two light azore 6mm links
- One crystal clear 6mm link
- One crystal clear 8mm link
Repeat to create a second length of chain using the above patterns.
Step 3
Connect the following:
- One Siam 4mm drop
- One light Siam 4mm link
- One rose 4mm link
- One light rose 4mm link
- One crystal clear 4mm link
Repeat to create a total of six beaded chains.
Repeat to create two more beaded chains using the above pattern and two crystal clear links instead of one and two beaded chains using the above pattern and three crystal clear links instead of one.
Step 4
Arrange three filigree focals on your work surface so one is in the center with the wide end at the top and the other two are on either side with the wide ends at the bottom.
Use a 4mm jump ring to connect the two bottom focals where the filigree meets at the widest point then connect the top loop of the bottom focals to the filigree in the middle of the long edge of the top focal on either side.
Step 5
Connect the longest 4mm chain dangle to the jump ring connecting the two bottom filigree focals from Step 4 together then connect the remaining 4mm chain dangles on either side of the longest one in decreasing order.
Step 6
Using a 4mm jump ring, connect the 8mm link end of one long chain to the widest filigree loop on one side of the top focal from Step 4. Connect the 8mm link end of a medium chain to the same filigree loop above the long chain. Connect the 8mm link end of a short chain to the next filigree loop above the previous one.
Connect the opposite ends of each chain to the wide end of a new filigree focal with the medium chain going to the middle loop and the short and long chains going to the outside loops.
Step 7
Connect the opposite end of the filigree focal from the end of Step 6 to the 6mm link end of the Capri blue chain then connect the opposite end of the chain to one half of the clasp.
Step 8
Repeat Steps 6 and 7 using the remaining lengths of chain to complete the second half of the necklace.
Earring Instructions
Step 1
String one Siam 4mm round onto a head pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of ten Siam drops. String one light Siam 4mm round onto an eye pin then form a simple loop. Repeat to create the following:
- Ten light Siam 4mm links
- Ten rose 4mm links
- Ten light rose 4mm links
- Ten crystal clear 4mm links
Step 2
Connect the following:
- One Siam drop
- One light Siam link
- One rose link
- One light rose link
- One crystal clear link
Repeat four more times.
Step 3
Use a jump ring to connect the crystal clear link from one chain to the middle filigree from the wide end of one 38x18mm focal.
Use jump rings to connect four more beaded chain links to the same focal, two on each side of the middle one.
Connect an ear wire to the top of the focal.
Step 4
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create a second earring.
