Bracelet with Stainless Steel Beads, Bone Components and Leather and Hemp Cord

Using a pair of scissors, cut one 24-inch length of 2mm black leather cord and one 9-foot length of brown/light brown hemp cord.

Fold the 24-inch length of black leather cord in half at the center of the cord. Pass the center of the leather cord through the hole on a 28mm flat round skull drop and attach it using a lark's head knot. Fold the 9-foot length of brown/light brown hemp cord in half at the center of the cord. Attach the brown/light brown hemp cord at its center to the center loop of the leather cord using a lark's head knot. Pull the long ends of both lengths of cord so the four cords lay in the same direction.

Tape or pin the drop to your work surface.

The leather cords will run to the inside of the brown hemp with the beads lined up to the center of the leather cords.

Bring the left hand brown cord around the leather cord from the back to the front. Pass the brown cord through one 6mm round stainless steel bead from the left to the right. Make sure the brown cord exits behind the right leather cord.

Bring the right hand brown cord around the black cord from the back to the front. Pass the brown cord through the 6mm round stainless steel bead from the right to the left in the opposite direction. Make sure the brown cord exits behind the left black leather cord. Pull the bead snugly up between the black leather cords.

Repeat Step 4 to weave the following beads into the bracelet:

• Four 6mm round stainless steel beads
• Four 8mm round stainless steel beads
• One 10mm round stainless steel bead
• One 30x10mm bone spacer bead (through the first hole, then the second hole)

• One 10mm round stainless steel bead
• Four 8mm round stainless steel beads
• Four 6mm round stainless steel beads

Tip: Use a bead reamer to enlarge the holes on the 30x10mm bone spacer bead if necessary.

Cut both black leather cords 3 inches from the last 6mm round stainless steel bead. Bring the left black leather cord around in a ''U'' shape, positioning the end next to the right side of the 6mm round stainless steel bead. Bring the right black leather cord around in a ''U'' shape, positioning the end next to the left side of the 6mm round stainless steel bead. Cut the left brown cord 3 inches from the last bead. Lay the brown cord next to the black cord in the ''U'' shape.

Wrap the right brown cord tightly around the two black cords and brown cord, to hold them together. Continue to wrap the brown hemp cord around the black leather cords for the length of the ''U'' shape.

String the end of the brown hemp cord onto a craft needle. Pass the end of the cord back under the wrapped cord for about an inch. Pull the hemp cord snugly under the wraps and cut the excess cord and position the wraps over the end. Apply a small amount of adhesive under the wraps next to the last bead on both sides for added security (optional). Set aside and allow adesive to dry according to manufacturers instructions.
