Instructions
Cut a 36-inch (1 yard) length of Berkley® Fireline® thread.
Note: It may be necessary to cut additional 36-inch lengths of thread later in the design.
Thread a #10 economy beading needle almost doubling the thread (to make it easier to work with) but leaving a tail so you are working with only one thread. Place a Bead Stopper™ on the end of the thread.
String four transparent dark cranberry #11 seed beads (this will be the base row).
String the following:
Pass back through the base row.
String the following:
Skip the first seed bead from the base row then pass through the remaining three red seed beads from the base row and the newly added transparent dark cranberry #11 seed bead.
Repeat this sequence to create a spiral rope of approximately 19 inches.
Remove the Bead Stopper.
Tie an overhand knot onto a headpin, close to the end of the spiral rope. Apply a small amount of E6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive to the knot to secure.
String one fancy beaded cone and one gold-plated brass round.
Form a wrapped loop then pass one 4mm gold-plated brass jump ring through the wrapped loop and the loop on the clasp and close. Repeat to attach a second jump ring, creating a double jump ring.
Remove the Bead Stopper from the opposite end then repeat to finish the strand.
