Instructions
Cut the following:
Find a cylindrical object of about 4-inch diameter (like a cleaning product container). Without detaching it from the roll, wrap 3-4mm turquoise suede lace cord twenty times around the cylinder in a compact way, near to the end. Cut the suede lace off the roll.
Thread the wire under the suede lace and cross the tails of the wire tightly, with one tail about 2 inches long, to bind the lace. Wrap the short tail around the long tail twice, then cut off the short tail and tuck it in. Pull the suede lace cord off the cylinder. Make a wrapped loop with the long tail of wire, then cut off the tail and tuck it in.
About one inch from the wire, tightly wrap the suede lace cord together using Purely Silk™ pale green size FFF thread. Make about 25-30 revolutions so that the width of the wrap is about 1/2 inch wide. Finish it with a whipping knot (binding knot). Use Quick Hold® clear adhesive to attach the 1-1/4 inch suede lace cord around the center of the pale green thread. Let it dry overnight.
At the bottom of the tassel, insert one side of a pair of sharp scissors in between all the loops. Pull the scissors down to the end of the loops and cut them apart. Trim the ends to the desired length.
Attach a 33mm silver-plated star focal to the front of the decorative center suede lace using three 6x4mm 18-gauge silver-plated oval jump rings in a chain.
Attach a 15.5mm imitation rhodium-finished rhinestone drop to the front of the decorative center suede lace using three 6x4mm 18-gauge silver-plated oval jump rings in a chain.
Attach a 27x22mm imitation rhodium-finished clasp to the wrapped loop at the top of the tassel using an 8x5mm 16-gauge silver-plated oval jump ring.
