Instructions
Cut a 36-inch length of bolo cord.
Using an adhesive and a toothpick, attach the nickel-plated brass bolo slide to the back of the ''turquoise'' and antiqued ''pewter'' focal so that the spring action latch is facing away from the focal. The latch will point toward the bottom of the tie, so attach in whichever orientation you prefer.
Open the latch and pass one end of the cord under the latch and through one opening of the focal. Using the same end of cord, continue back through the other opening. Pull through until both ends are an even length.
Grab the top of the tie, using a toothpick if needed, and pull the cord until the focal is at a desired position. Close the latch.
Using an adhesive, attach the opening of one bolo tip onto each end of the cord. Close the tips with pliers to complete the bolo tie.
