I made a necklace with beads strung on very thin chain, but I forgot to add crimp beads to keep the beads from moving back and forth. Is there anything I can do at this point to keep the beads in place without removing the clasp?

If your chain is less than 2mm in diameter, crimp covers may be a good solution to your dilemma.
Choose the right size crimp cover to fit snugly over your chain, then position the bead where you like it. Slide the crimp cover over the chain next to the bead then sse chain-nose pliers to gently close the crimp cover. Add a second crimp cover on the opposite side of the bead to secure it in place.
