Cut a length of beading cord twice the length of the desired finished strand plus 10-inch. Thread a twisted wire needle to the center then string a crimp bead and slide it down to the tails. Tie it securely near the end of the doubled cord and put a little glue on the knot. Pass the needle through the bead tip from the inside (below the hook) and out the hole in the bottom.
String the beads
To make the pendant, hang a butterfly capiz shell on an eyepin. String a 2mm silver bead, 6 yellow seed beads, and another silver bead. Cut off all but 3/8 inch of wire and make a loop at a right angle to the first loop. Open a fancy jumpring and string the eyepin on the bottom, then thread the jumpring through the capiz shell square's hole. String the loop on the sterling silver tube bead at the top of the jumpring and close it securely behind the shell.
For the longer of the other two dangles, cut an 8-inch length of Silkon bead cord. Thread a twisted wire needle on one end. Leaving a 3-inch tail, string a flower bead, coming out the stem end, then alternate a silver bead and a 3mm fire-polished bead 3 times. String a fourth silver bead and sew through the jumpring just above the eyepin. Sew back through all the beads strung. When you exit the flower, string a silver bead. Then tie the cord tails together with a square knot and dot it with glue. When dry, bury the cord tails by sewing through a few beads. Then cut them off. Make the shorter dangle the same way, but only string 3 silver beads and 2 fire-polished beads above the flower. Attach it to the front of the jumpring on the other side, a bit above the long dangle and end it as you did the long dangle.
Begin with a bead tip as described above. For the back section, string a silver bead, 3 pink seed beads, 3 yellow seed beads, a fire-polished bead, 3 yellow seed beads, and 3 pinks.
For the side, string a silver bead, a Celestial crystal, a silver bead, a fire-polished bead, 3 pink seed beads, 3 yellow seed beads, a fire-polished bead, 3 yellow seed beads, 3 pinks, and a fire-polished bead. Repeat this pattern 3 more times.
At the front, string a silver bead, a Celestial crystal, a silver bead, and go through the tube bead above the pendant. String the same 3-bead pattern on the other side.
Repeat Step 3 in reverse then Step 2 in reverse. End with a bead tip as described above.
Sew into the second bead tip, going through the hole on the bottom toward the hook. Slide the needle a little down one side of the cord and cut it in two at the fold. The needle will remain on one cord. Thread a crimp bead or a seed bead on this cord and remove the needle. Snug up all the beads on the strand. Tie the two cords together over the bead inside the bead tip with 2 square knots. Glue the knot and press the bead tip closed while the glue is still wet.
Put more glue on the knot in the first bead tip and close it. Trim the cord tails against the edge of the bead tips when the glue is dry.
Use round-nose pliers to curve each hook on the bead tips tightly around the loops on the ends of the clasp.
