Earrings with Swarovski Crystal and Wirework

Using flush-cutters cut two 12-inch lengths of gold-filled18-gauge round wire and two 6-inch lengths of gold-filled 20-gauge round wire.
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a spiral on the first 6 inches of the wire. Starting on the opposite end of the wire, form a second spiral on the remaining 6 inches of wire.
Fold the double spiraled wire in half so the spirals meet each other. Using round-nose pliers begin pushing up and pulling out the rounds of wire to form a barrel shape, working one spiral and then the other until the bead cage is 1 inch in length.

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create a second bead cage.
Form a wrapped loop on the straight end of a 6-inch length of 20-gauge wire.

String one Swarovski dark moss green 6mm bicone onto the straight end of the wire. Place the straight end of the wire through the center of the first wire bead cage. String onto the wire five fern green Swarovski 4mm bicones inside the bead cage. Then string one Swarovski dark moss green 6mm bicone (under the bead cage).

Form a 4mm loop under the last bead. String onto the loop one Swarovski dark moss green 16mm pear drop. Finish the wire with a wrapped loop on the wire between the 6mm bicone and the top of the pear drop.
Open the loop on an earwire. Pass it through the wrapped loop on the top of the caged bead drop. Close the loop.
Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create the second earring.
