Multi-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski® Crystals and Preciosa Czech Glass Seed Beads

Necklace

STEP 1
Cut the following lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire:
  • One 17-1/2 inch length
  • One 31-1/2 inch length
  • One 36-1/2 inch length
  • One 37-inch length

First Strand

STEP 2
String one crimp onto the end of the 17-1/2 inch length of beading wire. Crimp then trim excess wire from the short end. Finish with a bead tip.

STEP 3
String onto the beading wire:
  • Three inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 4mm round
  • 1-1/2 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 6mm bicone
  • 1-1/2 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 10mm pavé ball
  • 1-1/2 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
Continue to string one emerald 10mm pavé ball onto the beading wire, then repeat the above sequence in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Second Strand

STEP 4
Repeat Step 2 using the 31-1/2 inch length of beading wire.

String onto the beading wire:
  • 6-1/2 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 4mm pavé ball
  • 1-1/2 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 4mm round
  • Two inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 6mm pavé ball
  • Two inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 6mm bicone
  • Two inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
Continue to string one emerald 8mm pavé ball onto the beading wire then repeat the above sequence in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Third Strand

STEP 5
Repeat Step 2 using the 36-1/2 inch length of beading wire.

String onto the beading wire:
  • Three inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 4mm round
  • Two inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 4mm round
  • 1-1/2 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 6mm bicone
  • Two sets of:
    • 1-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
    • One emerald 8mm bicone
    • 1-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
    • One emerald 10mm pavé ball
  • 1-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 8mm bicone
  • 1 inch of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
Continue to string one emerald 10mm pavé ball onto the beading wire then repeat the above stringing sequence in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Fourth Strand

STEP 6
Repeat Step 2 using the 37 inch length of beading wire.

String onto the beading wire:
  • 5-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 4mm round
  • 1-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One emerald 6mm bicone
  • Two sets of:
    • 1-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
    • One emerald 8mm pavé ball
    • 1-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
    • One emerald 8mm bicone
  • 1-3/4 inches of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
Continue to string one emerald 8mm pavé ball onto the beading wire then repeat the above stringing sequence in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Assembling the Necklace

STEP 7
Pass one 4mm jump ring through the bead tip on one end of the first strand and the top loop on one half of the slide lock clasp then close. Repeat to attach the opposite bead tip to the corresponding loop on the opposite half of the clasp.

Using the above technique, attach the second strand to the next set of loops on the clasp, the third strand to the set of third set of loops on the clasp and the fourth strand to the bottom set of loops on the clasp.

Earrings

STEP 1
Cut two 2-inch lengths of Accu-Flex professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 2
String one crimp onto the end of one length of beading wire. Crimp then trim excess wire from the short end. Finish with a crimp cover.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire:
  • One emerald 10mm pavé ball
  • One emerald 4mm round
  • 1-inch of opaque metallic silver #11 rounds
  • One crimp
Crimp then trim excess wire. Finish with a bead tip.

Pass one 4mm jump ring through the bead tip and one ear wire then close.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 2 - 3 to create a second earring.
