Create this attention-getting bracelet design featuring Capri blue and aqua bohemica Preciosa Czech crystal beads. These beads offer a different look in the popular bicone shape with a matte surface and AB (Aurora Borealis) finish. The soft, muted effect of the matte finish gives these beads a velvety appearance that makes people want to touch.

STEP 1

Cut three 8-inch lengths of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.

Inner Strand

STEP 2

String onto the first length of beading wire: one crimp and one Accu-Guard™ wire protector. Pass the beading wire back through the crimp. Pull the beading wire so the crimp rests snug against the Accu-Guard leaving approximately 1/4 inch of beading wire on the end. Crimp then trim the excess from the short end of the beading wire. Finish with a crimp cover.

STEP 3

String onto the beading wire:

• Three sets of:
  • One Malaysia "jade" 3mm round
  • One Preciosa Capri blue AB 4mm faceted bicone
• Three sets of:
  • One Malaysia "jade" 3mm round
  • One Preciosa Capri blue AB 6mm faceted bicone
• One Malaysia "jade" 3mm round
• The center hole of one 32.5x7mm spacer
• Two sets of:
  • One lapis lazuli 3mm faceted round
  • One Preciosa aqua bohemica 6mm bicone
• One lapis lazuli 3mm faceted round

STEP 4

String one 15mm puffed flat round onto the beading wire then repeat Step 3 in the opposite direction.

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

Outer Strands

STEP 5

Repeat Step 2 using a new length of beading wire.

String onto the beading wire:

• Three sets of:
  • One lapis lazuli 3mm faceted round
  • One Preciosa aqua bohemica 4mm bicone
• Three sets of:
  • One lapis lazuli 3mm faceted round
  • One Preciosa aqua bohemica 6mm bicone
• One lapis lazuli 3mm faceted round
• One of the outer holes of the 32.5x7mm spacer from Step 3
• Four sets of:
  • One Malaysia "jade" 4mm round
  • One Preciosa Capri blue AB 8mm faceted bicone
• One Malaysia "jade" 4mm round
• The outer hole of the second 32.5x7mm spacer
• Three sets of:
  • One lapis lazuli 3mm faceted round
  • One Preciosa aqua bohemica 6mm bicone
• Four sets of:
  • One lapis lazuli 3mm faceted round
  • One Preciosa aqua bohemica 4mm bicone

Repeat Step 2 to secure the strand.

STEP 6

Repeat Step 5 in the opposite direction using the remaining outer hole of the two spacers.

Finishing the Bracelet

STEP 7

Pass one 4mm jump ring through one Accu-Guard and the corresponding loop on one half of the slide lock clasp. Repeat to attach a second jump ring to the same Accu-Guard and clasp loop.

Repeat to attach the remaining Accu-Guards on both ends of the strands to the corresponding loops on each half of the clasp.
